This is going to be my first post in English and not my native language Swedish

I got my reasons for that

As many of you know I’m not a person that easily give up and my moto is never give up never surrender and that’s been a hugh help for me since i got my cancer diagnosis 2019 and 2023

I’m a positive optimist and I always try to find a solution to any problems

Another thing I’m not ashamed of it to ask people for help when help is needed

So now I’m in a pickle because my 13 year old TV is slowly giving up on me and that’s fine because nothing lives forever

But my problem’s are that because of my 2 cancer diagnosis and only have retirement payouts I don’t have a lot of money

So I do what I always do and that is to solve the problem I have

I have been mailing all the big TV manufacturer’s and asking them if they could be so kind and help me out with a TV

Look I’m not gready I wrote to them that I would be greatful for a demo example or a returned unit with some minor damages

All would be better then what I have now

So I started with Samsung because in the past they have been kind to me

Then I wrote to Sharp, Philips, LG, TCL and Panasonic and I wrote to there VPs and CMOs

From Sharp I got the reply that they don’t manufacture TVs anymore and from Samsung I got a reply that they can’t sponsor me

The other manufacturer’s didn’t even bother to respond

But wait a minute if Sharp doesn’t manufacture TVs anymore then why are there Sharp TVs on the market and who is manufacturing them?

And I didn’t ask Samsung to sponsor me because I know that they have a big engagement in sponsoring youth organization’s and that is kind of them

My question to them all is if they could help me out by donating a demo example or a returned with some minor damages

Now understand I’m not complaining and it was great that Sharp and Samsung replied to me that’s being polite

But the other manufacturer’s can’t even reply that’s not polite

Look if someone mail to me I always answer because that’s the polite way

But as you know I never give up and I have found another people in high position’s in those companies and I have sent them a mail

So fingers crossed and hoping for the best and maybe my wish for a new TV will come true
